What do you like most with ICS?

I was always a fan of the ADW launcher and the folder system, but didn't like that I had to sacrifice the stock widgets, so the folders are my personal highlight.

I will never use face unlock. I would love the thumb print reader that was on the atrix as that seems more useful and less gimmicky.

I haven't tried the face unlock yet, but curious why you would never use it?

I agree that a tumb print would be nice.

Face unlock is just a gimmick in my personal opinion. I'm sure someone could put it good use. It works well in brightly lit areas. But sitting in my living room, it ends up forcing me to put in a pattern or a pin, so I may as well just skip the face unlock feature entirely. It's a cool 'show your friends' feature, and in a well lit area, it works flawlessly and quickly. So does my pattern however, and I feel more secure and less inconvenienced.

Now that we have ICS, what do you like most about it? Besides the features listed in the Verizon release, what else have you found?

-LAUNCH BAR
-SWIPE TO NOTIFICATIONS
-FACE UNLOCK
-USAGE
-MULTI-TASK
-CREATE FOLDERS
-IMPROVED VOICE INPUT
-INCOGNITO MODE

Now we get to try Google Chrome, YES.

I had posted this in another thread, but I am also quite pumped about Chrome. It's become my default browser at work and home and it was the first thing I installed after ICS came through. It *almost* feels like having a new phone.

Before, I could adjust the ring and notification volumes independently. Now, it's lumped into one volume option. Anyone know a way around that? Do I just need to get an app?

I got all excited when FoxFi started the WiFi tether but it all came crahsing down when I realized for some reason FoxFi fails to provide IP addresses which are needed to connect, hopefully this is something the devs at FoxFi can fix with an update and not something that HTC is intentionally blocking!

BTW, where (in settings) do you setup the face recognition?

Settings-security-screen lock-face unlock. I also recommend going back in and taking multiple face pics, with or without glasses, facial hair, smiling etc.

Well..well..well...I just love the taste of all this goodness...kinda pissed.though that I still have to turn on mobile data to send or receive pix...why? My HTC incredible received pix and sent pix on WiFi alone...but all in all...I like! As the days go on I'm sure i'll make new discoveries about my new new aka.. ReZound!

I got some Ice Cream! I got some Ice Cream!

be careful....if you go to far, a factory reset will be in your near future

What he said! I made sure not to disable anything that was really tied into sense or I thought it looked like it would cause problems.

I love that you can swipe away notifications.

Stupid question. How do you swipe away notifications?
