What do you NOT like about your Nexus 5X?

That I'm not sure about. Try blocking the original sender and see if that works

I tried to find a way to block the original sender but I just do not see the option. The only way to do it that I can think of is to save the number as a contact then block that contact. If it is a random group MMS that is not a contact I am not sure if you can block it.

The only think I don't like is the vibration motor. I got used to the strong and rattle free motor in the N6 that gives a nice thud on key strokes and firm vibration for notifications and the 5X is the exact opposite.

1) WiFi calling - needs to reboot when it's not enabled; even when enabled, call quality sometimes isn't good; zero issues with iPhone6 in same environment
2) Android6 compatibility - some apps seems to require update for the new OS (i.e. Torque app gauges don't align perfectly as before)
3) Fingerprint unlock - don't like when it randomly forces u to enter passcode;

What type of call quality issues have you been having? For me anyway, the N5X has had amazing call quality. Especially on WiFi.

I have run into some apps that don't properly utilize the new permissions style, but all of them at the very least work. In my case the apps on my phone are being quickly updated for Marshmallow compatibility.

Finally, I have not run into situations where I am required to enter in my pin while using fingerprint unlock. I am required to enter the pin the first time unlocking the phone after a reboot, but that's the only time. It is, however, pretty annoying that the sensor does not work with a pair of latex gloves on. I wear them at work all day, and it gets pretty frustrating having to enter the pin all the time. I can't knock the phone for it though because this is the case with any and all fingerprint readers.

Agree that so far the only thing I am not liking is the vibration. I do like using haptic feedback on my keyboard, and it sounds like I have sound turned on as well (I double checked and I don't!). Its enough that I am considering returning the phone.

Excellent phone.
Wish there was a 64G model. (6P is too big).

The single thing I HATE is the big white google bar that is stuck at the top of my home screen. (Yes, this is an android, not nexus, issue. And I dont want to use a special launcher. Nor should I have to, to take care of such an eyesore.).

Just received 5x today. I am on the fence about 6p I have. Size and weight gets to me for pocketability, although experience is great because of size .

After taking 5x out of box, I really liked size and weight, but the vibration was just so awful. I always disliked my 2013 moto x for the vibration noise. For that reason it will be returned.

Really enjoying the nexus experience. I just haven't found the hardware sweetspot

I'm just curious as to why you bought a phone designed by Google if you don't like having a Google search bar on your phone.

You can use Nova launcher abs get rid of the search bar.

I can onlly echo the complaints on haptic feedback. It's annoying to the point I'm considering turning it off altogether, though so far I just got rid of it on the keyboard. Love (almost) everything else though so definitely not a reason to return it.

Anyone dealing with keyboard lag? Mine has the slightest delay with each key press and its very annoying. There is no comparison against my Nexus 6 and every time I type on it it makes me wonder if I made a mistake buying the 5X.

Has anyone came from the Galaxy S6/ Edge ? Really looking into giving the 5X a try.. The original 5 was a let down as far as battery life for me .

I used the Galaxy S6 for a few months and I'd say the 5x gets about 25-35% better battery life than it.

If I had to nitpick... Why is the Redbox app not compatible? I also have some issues with the Prime Music app. Hardware wise I think it's a very nice phone.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the Redbox app, but I've become used to just using their web site as the app didn't work with my last phone (a Nexus 6) either.

No issues with Amazon Prime Music here.
