I'm late to this thread, but honestly the only things that can't be duplicated on the N4 are OIS and the 1080p screen. The N5 is a great phone for a great price, but I am still REALLY attached to my N4. Can't see myself upgrading until I'm forced.
Yes does anybody know if 4.4 will receive activate Lte?

LTE feature was never homologate through the FCC, so it's not even legal for Google to*enable it. You can install LTE enabled baseband developed by the community if you know how.Yes does anybody know if 4.4 will receive activate Lte?

I'm rolling the N4 until the frenzy over the N5 dies down. I'll pick one up after the first of the year used on swappa. And not for the prices people are gouging for them right now.

If you want to take the conservative route, I'd suggest to buy it new when the price drops $100 on Google Play after several months. It's happened with the original N7. And it happened with the N4. So the N5 will probably follow the same pattern.
Sure, you'll be buying a product that's nearing the end of it's shelf life. But at $249/$299 for a 16GB/32GB, it's a friggen steal.
I'd wait for the nexus 6 ;-)
