What features that were on previous Notes do you miss on the Note 10/10+

A week in now and despite a few differences that I'll have to live with and things I still need to figure out how to do, definitely loving my 10+ more.

glad to hear!!! it won't take long to figure things out. pretty much (will always love my Note 7) my best device to date.

I love my Note 4. For the longest time, it was my favorite Note.

After having a few others phones I saw someone with Note 2 or 3 & knew that was what I wanted. It was just before the 4's came out and I had one of the 1st ones my local Verizon store got in. It a was the first phone I really took to and customized, etc. I'm still not happy about the permanent battery and never saw anything extremely compelling on the 5,7,8,9 to make me give up that although I probably would've bought a few newer ones if it weren't for the replaceable battery issue but as soon as I started reading about the 10 in January/Feb. had decided I was finally going to do it and had been pretty psyched all year. Of course my 4 died in July and I bought a mint one on CL to hold me over but never got it set up like my orig.

My first note was the Note 4. I really enjoyed that phone and it was really my first "phablet." After that I had the Note 8 and I remember wishing I had a removable battery. Now virtually no phones has removable batteries but I still miss it on occasion.

That said, this Note 10+ is an absolute joy to use. I am having a hard time of thinking of something negative. The screen is HUUUUGGGEEEEE and gorgeous. The OS is snappy and fluid. I do remember my Note 4 succumbed to lagging as did my Note 8 a little bit. I am hoping that Samsung has been able to optimize their software to the point to eliminate that from happening. That is the one thing I love about my iPhone's I have had is that they never lag.

It's a great phone. I still have my N4

Surround sound instead of Atmos. I had to download a 3rd party app to add back in surround sound. While Atmos gives some surround sound, it isn't to the same effect as it was on the Note 8.Screenshot_20170912-212134.jpg

I don't think I really miss anything on past Notes and that's probably because I still have all of them. I still use my Note 9 and 8. I was actually using my Note 9 as my daily phone this past week.

Some people say that they miss the removable batteries but the only time I had a battery go bad was on the Note 4/Note Edge phones. All the rest of the Notes I owned are still on the original batteries and still last like they did on day one, especially my Note 8.

I don't miss the headset jack because I use my iPhone for music and always have.

I guess if I really had to pick one thing, it would be the fingerprint sensor on the back. I have never used it on my Note 9 because I have the Samsung S View case on it so I liked being able to open the cover and being able to use my phone immediately without unlocking which meant not even using a pin. I've thought of doing that on my Note 10+ because I have the S View case on it as well.
