What game genre do you prefer to play?

I normally play RPG and Shooting games. Any good suggestions for genre and game names?

A good game for turn based RPG is Shadowrun Returns. IT has a great story line and good looking Fx.

As for me, It depends on platform and the way of interaction beetween user and device.
So, on PC I prefer strategies and RPG
On Tablets and Smartfones - logic and casual games.
Several times I've tried to play shooters on smartphone but didn't like such control mode. But it's just my opinion.
So I think sensor mode of tablets and smartphones defines that games for these devices are less complex.

RPG and Strategy Games (though more turn-based or slow as opposed to fast-paced RTS.) The simpler the better - I used to love complex 4x Strategy Games as a kid but now I prefer casual games that I can learn to play in a couple of minutes.

When it comes to mobile i prefer casual games.

I prefer puzzle games, that are tough and challenging; no time pressure.
There are a lot of puzzle games where each level can be finished within (half a) minute.
So, that is nice for in-between some lost minutes. But, there is a danger of getting bored instead of satisfaction.
