What happened to my Gmail sync???

Ok, so I 'm not too bright. I decided to try to remove some apps yesterday and found out that to remove anything I have to "root" my phone. So I followed the instructions to do that. I got it "rooted" but once I did that I didn't know what to do next. So, I tried to "unroot" it. Now, I have lost the ability to get my emails on my phone. Before, they would come into my computer and my phone but now they only come to my computer. Can anybody tell me what I did wrong or help me to get back what I used to have. Once that's done I'll worry about uninstalling the apps.

Try going into Settings > Accounts > Google and verifying that your account is set to sync with your Gmail. You can hit the menu button (three dots in the upper right corner of the screen) and select "Sync now" to try and sync manually.
