Why doesn't this apply to mobile phone providers?

For example, the most expensive carrier which which a smartphone will run 130+ a month for a single line doesn't offer unlimited data, has a 350 dollar ETF, and I can't even get service underground in train stations. Then the minutes are limited as well.

Meanwhile t mobile offers me the same for 80 bucks, but with the added advantage of unlimited data (albeit throttled after a certain amount), unlimited minutes, unlimited text, AND I can get service underground in train stations. Then the etf is only 200

Guess cell phones are the exception to the rule

As if you really had to ask that lol.

Verizon.

You mentioned the minutes were limited as well. With Verizon's new Share Everything plans, they're not.

Which carriers work on the trains? I'm going to assume this is a subway.

Does T-Mobile's ETF decrease the further into the contract you are?

The only one I've had that worked on trains (and I've had all carriers) was t mobile. In the past their service has been horrendous, but they've greatly improved.

No, their wtf isn't a shrinking one, it's 200 whenever.

Well scratch the minutes.
