What happens when OTA hits root

I rooted my Note 3 (just to cure kitkat SD issues).
No changes other than that.
What will happen when the next OTA installs?

It will either ignore it and move on, find it and rescind root access or it will not know what to do and it will stop. There's not a quick way of telling which will happen in advance.
