What have SkyRocket owners used to root and enable hotspot?

Howdy,

Now that I have been able to confirm that the HP Touchpad will work with the SkyRocket, I would like to know what other owners have used to root and enable their hotspot.

subscribing... I've yet to figure this one out yet. PDAnet is a free app you can download from the market that allows a Bluetooth DUN connection for tethering but i have yet to try it with my tablet. as of now PDAnet doesn't support wifi hotspot tethering but i suspect they will update their app someday. the Bluetooth DUN works just fine however (i used this for 2 years on my blackberry, yet to have tried w/ the skyrocket).

Just download and install Titanium Backup and freeze TetherManager. You'll be able to tether without any additional software.
