To many options!
I'm being serious here, there are so many ways to customize the phone, that I'm never happy with it! I love launchers, next launcher in particular, it gives my phone an awesome look, and is very functional for me! But then I start missing the stock setup, I love blinkfeed and I love the very subtle approach of sense 5! Also how buttery smooth it is!

Sometimes I wonder if I would be happier with an iPhone or windows phone!

Anyone else ever feel this way?

I love the options. But currently my set up is stock. I'm a fan of rooting phones and trying out different roms. Even more options.

There was a user who had a how to root thread as his signature.... Do you remember who that was or if there's a thread for it?

Ha ha.. having so many options to choose from is the beauty of Android. If you're finding that a problem, then you should get another hobby since it seems to be taking a lot of your time. :)

Options are a good thing. Find a setup you LOVE and then leave it.

Why would anyone, honestly, want to be stuck using what Microshaft and crApple want you to have?

In order to get the Developer options mentioned in the article enabled, you'd have to go to Settings > About > Software Information > More and tap on Build number five or six times and you'll get it; pretty cool, right? Haha.

You hate the appeal of Android.

Why would anyone want to be stuck with their phone being what someone else wants their phone to be and not like they want it?

You don't have to use every option.

So pretty much you're saying "I wish I could be stuck with this setup instead of being allowed to choose my own setup, including this one."

I mess and tinker and tweak until I get something I am really happy with and then it sticks for a while, until I get bored one day and it starts all over again, but that really is the beauty of it. It is entirely feasible to completely change the interface of your phone any time you want.

I have just flashed my tablet and gone from an out of date, unsupported model, to a brand new version that is more up to date than my 2013 top end phone. And rather than struggling with the updated software and having compatibility issues, it is faster and more stable than it was originally.

The only downside is that as well as making your phone better, it is also all too easy to make it worse, but changing back is simple enough. Complaining that there are too many options is most definitely a case wanting to have your cake and eat it, which Android does let you do, but that should be something to be grateful for, not something to moan about.

I hate the lazy developers who cant use common sense in determining where directories go and fail to capitalize them too.
Android has the worst file system.

Well most users including me choose Android because we have options to change the phone how we want it.

Sounds like the quintessential iPhone user (not that there's anything wrong with that) and someone that actually shouldn't be using an Android device.

The motion is carried...OP, take your Android to the nearest Apple store, get a caramel skim, low whip, double shot, mochachinno and an iPhone.
