What, if anything, will make you pass on the Galaxy Nexus?

my main concen is a 5MP camera... currently i have HTC Sensation with 8MP, and going back to 5MP will be unacceptable.. i don't know why "5MP camera on Prime" rumors are so persistent, may be it is the intentional misleading info "leaked" by Samsung/Google in order to create instant hype at launch when it turns out the actual unit has 8MP on board.. but if Prime indeed comes out with 5MP - it will be suicidal for Samsung/Google.. those who crave raw ICS will buy Prime no matter what, but a vast majority of regular users will not go for anything with 5 MP when 8MP is almost standard on many good phones and is offered in abundance..

Train commute from Suburbs to city is 50minutes each way, plus 15-30min waiting for said trains each way, and occasionally if I'm feeling anti social, the phone entertains me during lunch. During which I have zero ability to access a charger.

I have a few of these pocket chargers. I think if I was away from a charger for a long time, I'd probably carry one of these. There are plenty of alternatives as well.

Don't be fooled by the higher Megapixel. Megapixel count is only one metric to measure image quality. I will take a 5MP that renders higher quality images any day. Not saying this is the case with the Prime, we will not know until it is released. Case in point the Iphone 5MP camera blows away my 8MP droid X camera (as much as I hate to say).

Its not coming to Verizon is it? No evidence that it is. Guess that would keep me from getting it.

u r making a valid point.. but many of those who will be choosing a new phone in coming months will only be able to compare specs on paper, and 5MP will be a deterrent for many.. in a current climate when Android vs iOS war is only heating up, i see it as a mistake to release a flagship device with latest Android OS on board that on paper will offer weaker hardware specs than iPhone 4S and other android phones that are coming out today or about to come out..

A two month delay would make me pass. Dont let us down Verizon! I know it can't be delayed if it was never announced, but still, release this soon!

I dislike the "cheap" plastic feel of the Samsung phones. So that could be the deciding factor for me. As for the rest of the specs we know there will always be something faster, stronger, smarter coming around the corner!

Realistically, only my OG Droid dying well before the Nexus Prime is available could do it.

A Droid Prime might be another matter, however improbable that may be.

Last Generation hardware would make me reconsider. Also, if the Verizon version comes with bloatware it would make me reconsider. Battery life isn't really an issue because any 4G device is going to have very limited battery life.

Okay. I'll be more blunt. The Prime doesnt seem to be coming to Verizon. Hasn't gone through FCC. Att and TMO will be getting it tho.

If I'm wrong I'll eat my words and happily buy a Prime at full retail.

But honestly, when has vzw got a good phone let alone a Nexus? Will never happen. I can see a Bloated Droid Prime next year, but not a Nexus device this year on vzw. No way.

It's received Wifi/BT certification and virtually every credible rumor thus far has pointed at a VZW exclusive, Panda included. Please stop talking now.

That's right because only Verizon phones have wifi and bt.

Until the phone is announced I wouldn't put anything past Verizon. They have a long history of screwing their customers. That aside, pretty much every source has this phone coming to Verizon first. The only speculation left is what will it be called.

I agree with them screwing their customers. But when it comes to sources and Verizon, two words come to mind. HTC Merge.

Fine. I'll make a forum bet with you. If it doesn't debut on VZW, I'll never post here again. If it does, you never post here again.

Agreed. *shake* although this might require a separate thread. I'm not trying to change subject of this one. Sorry to the OP.
If you're serious, start a new thread

One other thing. It has to be a Nexus Prime not a Droid Prime or whatever. Nexus.
