what is the "App Optimization" notification?

hi there, i have the S6 edge and I recently did an update and ever since, i've gotten this notification that i need optimize the apps. what is that?

Goto setting>battery look for app optimizations. It fully optimised it switch off the app after short time of startup to save battery and apps dont run in back ground. 2nd option stops app if only the app is not used for longer time i.e. couple of days. 3rd option is to disable optimisation completely.
