What is the best Phone Insurance for your Note9?

You can only add Samsung premium care if you ordered through Samsung. I've had premium care on my S8+, and Note 8. I bought my Note 9 through best buy, went to transfer and they told me Samsung won't cover any phone's not purchased through Samsung. Crock of S#!+. They didn't bother to mention or give any warning you'd lose your coverage.
Apperently they changed their policy and it says now that you have to buy the phone from Samsung.com that wasn't the case when they first introduced premium care as I had it on 2 phones and never bought directly from Samsung.

carrier if for nothing else every 6 months or so swap send back and get something with a fresher battery and hardware

I used to never buy insurance but now use Samsung for $12 a month. I do it for a year then I cancel it when I’m shopping for a new phone.

The thing is that if you do not have insurance through Samsung, the only way to get repair service is through a third party. From what I’ve been told by Samsung, they do not provide repair services unless the product is insured with them. Otherwise they’ll tell you to go to a third party. I was a bit shocked to hear of this, to be honest, because I was willing to pay for a repair to my GS6 edge but they sent me away. LOL

Ubreakifix is a licensed Samsung repair shop and fixed my wife's S8+ charging port for 119.

I had the same issue....swapped from note 8 to note 9 at sams. They will not let me keep my Samsung premium…...so stupid.

I saw positive and negative reviews on facebook about that company, the worth ave group, I think I'm going with the carrier instead of the 3rd party

Ubreakifix sells some kind of liquid glass screen protector for $50. They are a Samsung authorized repair facility. The screen protector has a 1 year warranty with a $20 deductible.

I didn't even take protective plastic off the screen when I got the Note 9, just took it in directly. Took about 20 minutes and I can even tell it's there.

While mine was getting done a guy brought in a phone with a cracked screen and they were honoring the warranty. Charged him $20. He did have the new screen treated and paid $50 for that. So he paid $120 total and the new screen is warranted for a year. The repair would have cost $239.
