What is the FINAL RESULT of your OTA update?

OTA won't install it if your rooted (temp or perm.). If you want it and can't wait for a dev. update you can flash to install. Revert everything back to stock, and then update. After that, it's groundhog day, you'll have to unlock and root all over again, though.

I'm in same boat. I used CleanTOOL 2.1.1 and the OTA update downloaded 52Mb but doesn't seem to install. How do I revert everything back to stock? I thought the temp root could be disabled easily? There should be warning right up front for newbies!

If I was in the same boat I'd just do a hard reset. Another option, is to the tool again, and swap everything that was disabled and revert them back to "enable". Either method and you should be back to stock upon completion.

I haven't gotten the OTA yet, but I'm temp root. I posted on cleantool and get updates when others post there and this morning I saw an update that said once they installed the OTA they can't debloat now. The way they posted it sounds like the update blocks you from turning off the bloatware. ???

I used the clean tool to debloat. before updating, i used clean tool to rebloat, and the update took just fine. just a note that you can't run the current clean tool after the update, somehow the current update breaks that temp root.

Worked perfect for me! I even switched from my extended battery back to the regular one. So far so good! I know its to early to say that a battery fix was in the OTA but it is working out good for me!

I updated. It said it was downloading. But nothing happened. So i restarted, ran cleantool and re-bloated. Tried ot search for an update. Nothing.

OTA update went smooth. Not rooted just plain stock. 5 bars are a welcome site. Only get 3G in this neck of the woods but with one tower in town, signal strength on average inside and outside is about -70dBm. One thing I did notice is the speed of the little spinning 'circle/arrows' indicating downloading on the left side of the info bar next to the time. It use to circle slow but now it "hauls ass" when email comes in. Have not used the phone for clarity conformation but incoming voice mail sounds a tad 'cleaner' than it did before the update. I had no problems with incoming or outgoing voice issues. I'll also check battery life.

Disable screen off and Do a restart and wait a few minutes.

I'm experiencing forces closing constantly while trying to access accounts / sync and my time is now acting up placing me a full hour ahead of my real time.

All is great with the update but I ran into a hiccup with the update.
I was unlocked, rooted, custom recovery, but was still on the custom ROM. I had a couple of bloat apps frozen, nothing else really.

The update downloaded and tried to install, got stuck in a boot loop. After doing a battery pull it rebooted but the radio version wasn't updated. I just decided after messing around for a few hours to flash the stock ruu, factory reset and go back to old stock.

Redownloaded the update and it went super easy. No issues at all and my wife said the call quality (her hearing me talking on the phone) was much better. She said before it had a bit of an echo at times.

On my Rezound it says status is Update Successful and the Code is 200. Had no problems, except that it would not install with a low battery. Had to plug it in before the update ran.

I had the low battery thing happen to me. Update downloaded fine but after download, it never popped up with the "Click OK to proceed" until I plugged my phone into the charger. I was at about 42% on battery and it sat for about 20 minutes after download and did nothing. Plugged it in, 3 minutes later, up popped the OK to proceed button, and off I went.

So far so good...no weird stuff/reboots.

I see you're in Vegas... The two trips I've taken to Vegas I've had the same problem with my Rezound (before the update was available). It happened almost every day. Sometimes it would clear up in a few minutes while other times it stayed an hour ahead.
