What is wrong with my battery?!

A

AC Question

I have a samsung galaxy tab 2.7 and I have had it for just under 3 years. Usually when I plug it in to charge it charges extremely quick. It jumps from 19% to 100% in under a minute. Then I usually let it charge more even when its 100% (is this really bad??) but then when I unplug it it drains down to about 2% in under a minute!! What am I doing wrong and is there anything I can do to fix it. (Btw this has only being happening since about a quarter of a year ago.)

Time to get your battery replaced. Search Google and look on youtube to see how it's done. There are several places that should sell a battery for your tab or take it to a repair shop and have them do it for you.

Hi and Welcome to AC!

Sounds like your battery might be failing. The battery can't charge from 19% to 100% in under a minute.
