I just came from a s4 and on that phone this app was updated a while back. Its color scheme changed a little. Instead of orange lighlights it changed to blue etc. Got this phone and updated the App and it still has the old orange color highlight s and still has the 3 dot menu. I liked the new update on the s4 but why doesn't this phone show the newer update? Any suggestions? My app is updated to newest version also. Thanks.

Nothing is wrong. You just have to turn dark mode on again. Go to more (at the top right) then settings.. And ensure dark mode is on (top option). See below.

Go into settings and there should be an option to change theme modes.

To be very honest I just use the AC app for news only. Tapatalk seems to run a lot smoother if your wanting Forums access. Have you tried that?

Tapatalk has quite a number of bugs and I think the AC app is based on the Tapatalk app.

It is based off of Tapatalk app. I have found Tapatalk 2 (Current version on the play store) to be very stable for me. The AC app is too but having my forum accounts all in one app helps me out more on a personal level I guess. I was just tossing out an idea is all. AC app has been great for me but Tapatalk seems to run better for the Forums side of things. AC is doing a great job on it's updates though!

True.

I do have the dark theme enabled. Thus app on the s4 looks different. Trust me. If anyone has both phones then please compare them. And why is there still a 3dot menu. The new app is updated without these at the bottom.

Moved this thread over to an area where it will get better attention if need be by Admin and the app developer.

There are two AC apps.

One is a modified(Rebranded) version of Tapatalk that is specifically for these forums.

Then there is the Official AC app that has more features than forum version.

There are some database connection/communication/sync errors I believe with the Official AC version. This may have been fixed but I gave up on the app. Currently using the AC branded version of Tapatalk for the lack of a better term. So far that has been my best experience.

Thank you. Im just trying to get answers

Yes. I have always had dark mode enabled. Does your phones have the orange separator lines. My s4 used to and since the update it turned blue. When I got my HTC there still orange.

Screenshots would honestly help a lot.

If the lines doesn't affect your reading, then you shouldn't really mind it. Otherwise, use other forum apps.

The orange bar. On my s4 it was blue after the update and the colors looked a lot cleaner. The 3 dot menu also. The new android central app has removed the dots. Why not this app.

In this case, I believe it is the app itself. There is nothing you can do about it.
