This is only for HTC device owners, as I am interested to see how many people prefer a third party launcher to HTC Sense.
I like the stock launcher very much, and so also have a license for Nova and Action Launcher.
I still prefer the stock launcher, mainly because of Blinkfeed and the clean UI. My close second option is Action Launcher, with its great customization options, especially the shortcut gestures.
If I were to choose alone on functionality, Action Launcher would be my choice. I just like the Sense UI a bit more.
What are your thoughts?

I use stock launcher

Only 3rd party launchers I ever kept on my previous phones were Aviate and Everything.me but I haven't felt the need or desire to use one on the 10

Stock, Action 3, ASAP, and ZEN. Switching as the mood strikes. All are excellent.

Nova seems to be very popular amongst android users especially samsung phones...I tried it, I just didn't like it at all

Yes, because you have so many options to customize. I bought it when it was on sale. It has also a positive effect on my battery life for some reason as a plus

This is a lesser known launcher but in my humble opinion is the best. It's called TSF launcher. If you love extra settings and cool functions then you'll love this launcher... It also is one of the best 3D launchers with no slowdowns faster than most 2D launchers.

I checked out all the other launchers listed here. Some are nice, some not so nice.

It's funny how you get used to one and it's so hard to switch. I am back to Nova again.

I use Nova pretty much all the time. Sometimes I go back to the stock for a while because I like that I can have separate wallpapers for night and day. A silly reason, I know. But I have tried several.

How does one do that??

I've done a little bit of research, but don't really see the appeal of launchers. Maybe my needs are more simple.
I have folders for games, apps with account stuff (bank, Dropbox, etc), media/entertainment, and other on my home screen. Pretty much everything I use/need is there. Is there something I'm missing about how launchers help improve my phone experience? I'm genuinely curious.

I had Golauncher with the keyboard too, however it was consuming a bit too much battery especially the keyboard as it was running in the background. However I guess that's the case with every launcher. It does improve the appearance and gives the device a new feel with for instance the 'glass 3D effect'.
