What one thing makes buying a Nexus 7 go/no-go for you?

It was a go for me. However, I wish Google would make even higher end devices as I am willing to pay a little more.

A high end and highly customizable media consumption device for 200-250$. It's definitely a go. This device has a lot of bang for the buck despite drawbacks like no external storage and initial production run issues.

It will probally be a no go after thinking about it awhile because of the following things that would use 1. no rear camera with flash, 2. no external card memory, 3. no hdmi but the rest of the specs rock. I know some people have a bad opinon about using a tab for pictures but a simple and decent camera is aplus when you dont wann carry five different single use items.

1) can't you use a smartphone for pictures?
2) no external may be a draw back, especially when I don't always have a wifi network in range.
3) I bet the Nexus Q will give you HDMI out soon enough.

110% go. i have had mine for over a week and absolutely love it. the form factor is amazing for reading in bed or on the couch and is small enough to bring with me when i go out. JB is amazingly smooth and fast and leaves little to be desired in terms of specs. More / expandable memory would be nice but with the cloud its essentially non issue. This device is not a laptop replacement. It is a middle ground between full on computer and phone.

The fact that its is wifi only is non issue as well as i can set up a mobile hotspot with one click of a button on my G nex and instantly have 4g speeds (which my company is footing the bill for)
