What phone are you coming from?

i am actually on a whole other level. i am coming from sprint and the original htc evo 4g.

didn't want to get burned by sprint again. at the time when i got the evo, 4g network was nowhere, now it's like deja-vu with lte

hate leaving unlimited plan but with my usage i should be alright. here's to hoping we see it soon.

I'm in the same position. I stuck with Sprint for so long because I thought they were the cheaper than Verizon. It turns out that through work I can get a better deal and unlimited data with Verizon so it was a no-brainer.

I'll be leaving my iPhone 4 behind (actually just mailed it in to Verizon for their trade-in service today) as I no longer wish to support Apple due to their business practices. It'll also be nice to have a little more freedom with the OS. Now I just have to make due with my 4 year old flip phone while I wait for my GSIII to show up.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm using a 4S right now, but Apple is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth with their business practices. I'm thinking of ditching it to get an S3, but I have no upgrade to use, so it'll be full price for me.

coming from Dinc here...love that phone but sadly its time for a new one since i blew the microphone out and have had to use a bluetooth 100% of the time for calls.

Plus AOKP milestone 5 is great and all on it but its still a bit too unstable for me, too many resets.

HTC Droid Eris. Rooted it about 2 months ago, and that has kept me enjoying playing with this phone. But it is too slow, and I have an upgrade available in about a week.

I am wondering if I should root it when I get it of just keep it stock.

I'm paying full price as well to ditch the iPhone. I'm getting to the point where if Windows 8 is a killer OS, that I'll ditch my MacBook Pro just so Apple doesn't get any more of my money.

My wife is due for an upgrade from a non-smartphone so I will most likely transfer my Nexus to her and get the S3 for me...hehe. I think the Nexus is a good phone but I just think the camera in it sucks. Pretty much every picture I take is blurry. It does take fantastic pictures outside in the daylight but indoors its useless in my opinion. I forgot my regular camera the other day and had to use my Nexus to take pictures of my son at a church function .... they all turned out like crap. Also the verizon Nexus, for me, updated twice...once in December the day I bought it and the other 2 weeks ago..........6 months for an upgrade??...thats an eternity when considering technology. So this tells me that with Verizon you never really get a true Google phone. Also, pretty much everyone had to hack it anyway..so why not just hack the S3.

HTC Droid Incredible. Still love it, but cannot resist the Galaxy S III. Hope I'm not disappointed with TouchWiz.
