What phone are you leaving for the Nexus 6?

I am still contemplating if I want to get it or not. On one hand I am like "OMG it's a nexus and on verizon" on the other hand I am like "the phone may be a little too large" I am considering using it along side an iPhone (i know, get your pitchforks ready) and ditching my galaxy tab s, and tablets all together and use the nexus 6 as a sort of tablet replacement. I guess once I get to hold one and mess around with one in store that will be the deciding factor for me.
Nothing wrong with using an iPhone too. I've been wanting exactly this phone for awhile. I've been mostly Nexus since February and love it, but I wanted a bigger phone that could also be a tablet replacement and I really wanted a high end Nexus phone (I still feel like the 5 is lacking in a few areas). I sold my Nexus 7 about a month ago when I realized I never used it unless I was reading a book in bed. So I'm hoping the 6 fills the tablet/phone combo for me. Although it'll be tough to pass up the Nexus 9...

Considering replacing my new Moto X 2014. Love it, but I have a friend who would buy it if I decide to go for the nexus 6. Still haven't decided. (I bought Moto X outright, but would get nexus 6 thru t-mobile).

Paid off the installment plan on my LG G3 so I will get the Nexus 6, sell the G3 and use that cash to pay down the new plan. :)

Mav.

Might be leaving my trusty, 6 years old e51 for this....is this too big of a generation jump?

You're not serious are you?

If you're being honest......that will be one hell of an upgrade. Getting a smartphone for the first time, and the Nexus 6 no less.

One thing you might not like though, smartphones have to be charged every day. Not like the good old days when a phone would last a week on a single charge.

Oh, I am being serious. Although I had an ipod touch 1 when it was released, later upgraded to itouch4 so I am not too unfamiliar to smartphones in general. Yeah, I am sad about the battery, I could go 1-2 weeks w/o charging, now it's closer to a week.

I took my Nokia 3310 with me on holiday in 2000. I charged it the night before I went, and landed at Heathrow a week later with 11% battery left having not charged it at all.

I pine for those days... :'(

I had this dilemma last year.. Moto x or the Nexus 5. and (I went with the Moto X and freaking love it) Now i'm stuck in the same dilemma again. 2014 Moto X, or the Nexus 6..The thing is I've never had a phone that was 5 "+. The 4.7 screen on the 2013 moto x is the closest I've gotten.

I've seen some of you owning more than one phone device , phones that's recently came out. How do you all do it? surely you don't have two or three phones activated and paying the bills?(Though I am sure a lot of you can) Using one at home for Wifi? Tempted to get the Nexus 6 just to see if I would like it.

Credit cards for me lol.

I'll be leaving the Note 3. I'm gonna miss the S-Pen, but I think the benefits of the Nexus 6 will outweigh that.

Galaxy S3. I was really hoping for a smaller size but will give it a shot. Sprint is not offering the 2014 Moto X or Xperia Z3, so to me this is the best alternative.

While I don't see it as leaving my Nexus 5 for this, I see it more as passing the baton. I will keep my N5 in case something happens to the N6. So I will not be doing away with it. It is still a solid and good phone. But the N6 will be a beast, a beautiful one....

Leaning 60/40 towards returning this note 4 for the 6.

Well I have the N5 currently. I love it with the exception the loud speaker is terrible as is volume and battery life is so so. I would love to have the N5 with larger battery, better loud speaker and camera. It has worked great though with those annoying things aside. I am torn between the note 4 and N6. Waiting to see how the battery life, loud speaker and camera are on the N6. As I was looking at the Note the size does not bother me as much. Jut tired of charging all the time or keeping battery pack around.
