What phone to get after being hooked on Honor 8

For sure. And the glass back kind of frightens me. I mean, my Honor 8 has a glass back and I love it; but I want my next phone to be free of glass backs and such. I'm clumsy enough as it is! 😂
Oh i certainly understand it's a hard call for sure especially with so many moving towards glass

I’ve never owned a HTC before even as many phones as I went through for some Reason HTC never interested me but that being said I never really researched them either but I’d say overall I’ve heard good things about them. I’ve owned Sony. Their updates are about average or typical in terms of how often they update. I know some of you pointed out the Red HTC which was awesome looking. I wouldn’t have minded getting one of those while I was using android but I was more into Motorola phones. I liked the Moro Z line. The Moto mods were fun to mess around with as you could change the look of your phone every day. My favorite moto z was the budget Z phone which was the Z Play. Absolutely the best battery I’ve ever used. It lasted forever and barely drained. Another awesome semi budget phone I loved was the Nexus 6p. Had it not been for it’s 5.7 inch huge design I would have used that phone a lot longer. I just personally prefer a smaller compact phone as my daily driver. That being said I absolutely love being back to the iPhone which their design has been the same since the iPhone 6 all the way up to even now with the iPhone 8 which is 4.7 inch display. One thing I can tell you I do every day and all the time is I try to unlock my new iPhone from the back lol. I got so used to the Honor 8 fingerprint sensor being on the back I find that I’m always pressing my apple logo to try and unlock my phone all the time. Lol. It’s been hard getting used to the front bottom fingerprint sensor again. I’m not really sure which I like better front or back. The iPhone 8 fingerprint sensor is way more fast than the 6s which was the last iPhone I used before swapping over to android. I’d say the iPhone 8 and Honor 8 are neck and neck in terms of how fast they unlock the phone. I’ve always thought the Honor 8 had one of the most fastest fingerprint sensors on the market and also one that always worked on the first try every time too. I know I’m going to miss the days of the mid range budget phones that still offered flagship specs like the Honor 8. The iPhone 8 is a flagship and the price definitely reflects it too. That’s one thing I didn’t want to do again was pay top dollar for a phone again but never say never bc here I am as I’ve done it again now with the iPhone 8. The only way I justified it was that I promised myself that I’d use it for long term and not continue to change phones or buy and sell all the time anymore. Had it not been for the promotion xfibity had I wound have never gone back to apple lije I just did but if I was going to go back the promotion I got made it the best time to go ahead and make the switch back worth it and even possible. I still though hated to let my Honor 8 go as I always thought it was the best device on the market for the price. To me it’s very much a flagship device but at an unbelievable price. I truly think had the Honor 9 had been released here that I would not have swapped back over to apple. Even though I wanted to and I missed IOS I believe the Honor 9 would have kept me from going back to what I know best which is IOS.
