What Pixel Improvements do you want to see in the Pixel 2?

I disagree I’m afraid, I mean this is Google we’re talking about, they easily have the resources to include hardware OIS in addition to improving HDR+. Those aren’t mutually exclusive features and I salivate at the thought of their HDR+ algorithm being enhanced by OIS. Google said that they didn’t need OIS last year as their software tricks made them competitive anyway, which was true, but it disregards the fact that OIS would have made the original Pixel’s camera even better. There’s no such thing as a camera that’s too good! I want to see improvements to both hardware and software this year :)
I mostly agree with this whole thing, my only concern is that they could choose to shortcut the software by using hardware as a crutch. Doesn't mean they will, but we've seen that from other oems and that's super frustrating. If they did do both and did it well we'd have a monster of a camera.

Won't happen but I would like it to be fairly identical to the V30 if they retain the Dedicated DAC because of the Google updates.

I want longer battery life, a camera without lens flare, and waterproofing. I would be quite happy with those. (Stereo front speakers would be a bonus)

Does changing the name back to Nexus count as an improvement?

pixel got a name for itself in the consumer space. nexus never caught on besides tech enthusiast.
it would be stupid to change name now because Pixel became much more popular than nexus

Google Pixel 2 - "3200 mAh" battery

Google Pixel XL 2 - "3800 mAh" battery

Might as well have bigger battery now with bigger chassis / bezel fill that space with something useful.

Having a 256GB model option!

Copy of Apple iPhone 7 256GB option model!

Since there copying Apple -3.5mm jack model.

Also having the 256GB model option for people mad about not having a MicroSDXC UHS I card storage option helps for downloading freaks like me! Since the largest MicroSDXC cards are only 256GB right now anyhow.

Good trade off my opinion.

If they are taking the headphone jack I want the Bluetooth to work flawless.

Amen.

That said, Android O is supposed to support Bluetooth 5.0 and AptX (and AptX HD), so assuming the hardware works well with it, I think chances are pretty good that Bluetooth will be much improved.

BLuetooth 5.0 sounds pretty awesome too ...
