What radio is best on Froyo?

ok , yea i just did odin the modem, better signal already... i am currently running full stock + froyo + clockwork, and now ec01 radio. does the rom include the radio if one was to flash the rom? and what is the rom based off of?

ok so i tried to flash the file with odin and i opened odin, connected phone went into the downloading yellow triangle screen, clicked on PDA selected EC01 radio clicked start and the messages its gets stuck stating modem.bin and odin does not do anything else. What do i do?
WOW what a scare. I checked the file and it did not fully download. Downloaded the radio file again, flashed it, works!! Damn that scared me for a minute!

for those who are on the fence about dl the new radio. just odined the radio, straight on to sc 292. see a little bit of improvement

same here im able to get a lock within the house as well too also *22899 wont hurt either after flashing EC01

Sharky slightly off topic but also on topic...The new Debloated EC01 rom isnt the "community rom" they have been hyping up right? Do you know anything on that??? What it is going to be?? I dont see the need to flash that since I already have the Modem on 2.9.2 and it is good enough for now

The new EC01 ROM is only very slightly debloated, nowhere near as debloated as superclean. EC01 is not the community ROM. Adrynalyne mentioned waiting for the community ROM in his OP in the EC01 thread. He said if you can't wait for the community ROM, go ahead and flash EC01. Seems to me that would be common sense that EC01 is not the community ROM. Later on in the EC01 thread Adrynalyne said he had an OS (operating system) crash and EC01 was completely lost. So since he has not posted anything about the community ROM being dead...........further evidence EC01 is not part of the community ROM. I tried the EC01 modem and ROM for a while with times_infinity's ulv comavolt kernel, but switched to sc 2.9.2 with EC01 modem and Comavolt because I was getting terrible battery life and my menu kept popping up on the bottom of the screen all by itself.

Sorry, answered your question before I knew about Nitroglycerine's debloated EC01. That is also not the community ROM, but is definitely deodexed and debloated further than the EC01 release.
aight thanks, yah I was talking about Nitro's. Still prob wont flash it cause im using the Modem already and 2.9.2 is still awesome in my book.
