This happens with a lot releases. You should be happy the 10 series is getting some software features from the 20 and not worry about a debate between the two.
We have at least one thread discussing this in it's entirety. Click the link below to join the threadOK, thanks. But I am really trying to find out what the version of the camera is that fixes the focus issues on the S20 Ultra.

What is the camera app version and the baseband version after the update?
I can only speak for the Ultra from a camera perspective. You are missing out on the higher resolution sensor and the larger hybrid zoom. The zoom between 4x and 10x is excellent and up to 30x really good. You can probably get some decent shots above 30x but at 100x it's just to see what's out there that you may not be able to see normally.actually i AM VERY HAPPY that the 10 Lines are getting those updates, alot of people had so much to say when the S20 came out, (before the camera update it must be said) and some also said the 10 series had better options hardware wise in certain aspects, also from a financial stand point, it would be more affordable for someone like me to now get a 10 series phone without thinking that i'm missing out on alot. its a very nice thing. now people can keep their 10 series a little longer.

The update version is covered in that thread. We try to avoid duplicate threads to avoid parralel discussions.Yeah, I was following that thread and there seems to be some confusion as to whether or not this update that is rolling out fixed the camera focus issue or not. Some people say it's fixed, others say it is not fixed and they see no difference. I had even asked someone in that thread what baseband and camera app version of someone who reported the focus issue was fixed. No response yet.
I just upgraded my S20 Ultra yesterday and my camera app went up from 10.0.01.74 to 10.0.01.98 and my focus issues still remain. So I want to know from the people who are claiming that their focus issue on their S20 Ultra is fixed, what version of the camera app they got with the update. It would be nice to know if there is more than one camera app update being released...
Here is the camera version ends in 98 and build number ends in ATCH. This is the camera update that was pushed both to Snapdragon and exynos. It fixes/improved the focus and other camera complaints based on feedback from many people. There are few who still reported they have the issue. I'm one of them where I could easily replicate the focus hunting even after the update when I move objects in and out of camera focus. I have reset the camera, wiped camera cache and cache partition from recovery and tried few other things but didn't help. I have just accepted may be it's just me and hoping that this is not something I'll encounter in most scenarios.
