re: Camera Update
T-Mobile is most definitely not the worst.

QUOTE=mgloss;6763795]I received the March security patch last night. It didn't say anything about the camera. I'm on Verizon.[/QUOTE
The march security update was available the day the phone shipped. This was a 2nd update. The camera software should end in 98 now

All my AT&T devices received monthly updates as well as the vast majority of people. But you're not alone with an AT&T device that didn't receive monthly updates. A few others have reported that issue as well.No AT&T is the worst! Granted, I don't have any experience with T-Mob... But still. I've had the S10+ on AT&T for over a year and has never received ANY OTA updates! I now have the S20 Ultra and didn't even receive the initial OTA update that others have reported.
So where is your S20 camera update for TMobile? I was with T-Mobile and pretty much T-Mobile was at the bottom in most cases to get the updates. T-Mobile is great in lot of things but their update speed is not one of them and just go look at Pixel threads or other phone threads you will see similar trend of if you have a T-Mobile SIM you are waiting for the update longer than others. Of course they need not be always the last, but majority of the time they are in the bottom 2 in terms of when they receive the update. Atleast that's been the case in the past few years.T-Mobile is most definitely not the worst.

It was all mixed up at one point , I remember Verizon for a while would get it first before everyone then they dropped off and then was ATT for little bit and Tmobile was up there also , but seems to flip flop lately. One thing when you do beta testing for new android versions its unlocked, tmobile, sprint ....Verizon and at&t were drop out of it I believe. So where is your S20 camera update for TMobile? Yes but for the the last year or couple of years T-Mobile is always near the bottom. I'm not talking about beta builds enrollment, just regular monthly security updates and Android platform updates. Long time back Verizon was the worst but they have upped their game, atleast recent years T-Mobile has always been at the bottom in terms of update speed. We can always find exceptions here and there but I'm talking in general. It was all mixed up at one point , I remember Verizon for a while would get it first before everyone then they dropped off and then was ATT for little bit and Tmobile was up there also , but seems to flip flop lately. Yeah it doesn't really matter for me either because I just fash through Odin these days if I really wanted something no big deal. But I'm trying say is it's always been a flip flop who sends it first , but tmobile hasn't been on the ball with it lately and Att firmware is getting harder and harder to get hold of and been lacking as tmobile. And also it doesn't matter to me one bit since I don't use TMobile, even when I was with T-Mobile I just used to force the update by putting in an Verizon or AT&T or whichever carrier had the update certified for the unlocked model. Or in case of Pixel most cases just sideload.
Well since the update rolled out to international version first and they said autofocus is good now , can base of that. There is a fix for it and should be coming to everyone else shortly .It would be nice if all carriers rolled this out today as it’s an important update. There are a lot of people still within return window that will return unless update fixes camera issues. Shouldn’t be just Sprint or Verizon.
FWIW I still have the auto focus issues after camera update, struggling sometimes to lock on objects both on camera and video mode. I guess it's not that big of a deal since in my tests I'm constantly taking the object in and out of focus which might not be real world scenario. I'll have to test in general use if I run into problems because of this.
