What time can we preorder on May 7th?

Going to be tough. Unless you are on the west coast. According to Sprint's countdown clock, presales begin at 8am central time.

when I pre ordered the original EVO from Best Buy I put $50 down to hold the phone. They took my name and contact information. A few days later they called to set an appointment time to pick up the phone on the official release date. On that day, I simply went in the store, no line to wait in, paid the remaining balance, and walked out with beautiful EVO goodness.

the sprint page alludes to getting it earlier by saying preorder with them and receive the phone before anyone else gets a glimpse. I wonder how much earlier this could mean??? interesting

Wouldn't be cool if you pre order Monday and you got it by Friday? That should would be earlier. Lol

Sprint rep in the Corporate Store said the same thing about the $50 deposit. I too am hoping I can pick it up on Friday!

Just ordered mine. Can't wait. I was first in line at the Sprint store for the orginial EVO. This will be sweet and blow my wife's iPhone 4s out of the water!
