What to do after a System Reset- allow Google to bring programs back or use Helium Backup?

[AC Question]

I had to do a System Reset on my Galaxy S7 and need to bring it back to pre-reset state. I made a Helium backup and my question is- I have to log into my Google account, which then does a restore of all the applications that were on the phone. Should I not allow this and just restore from my Helium backup or allow Google to install all the apps and data and then do the Helium restore?

Google doesnt reinstall programs it just reinstalls settings and some data of apps you used to have from google play that you choose to download again from the store

All of my apps were reinstalled by Google after a factory reset (except for non Google Play apps)- Google has been doing this for at least a year now- probably closer to two years.
