What to do if some programs now don't work on Froyo?

I went and wiped the data for PEPID and still no go. Is there something I might be doing wrong in wiping the data? But, if I delete the app and reinstall it, shouldn't there be no data to wipe? Again, still just trying to understand all of this and I really appreciate both of your inputs!

If I was to start all over again is there a different ROM that I should flash? I really have no clue how this works with 2.2. I was very good at following the directions in post #1 in the 2.2 thread. I was thrilled that after I finished that the phone actually worked as advertised with all of the apparently possible problems that others were having. :) I guess that's a little of my fear of doing it again. It all went so smoothly the first time. Just hoping it wasn't a fluke. :-)

If things got forked up in the mounting then the only thing to do is start over. I would flash new red and wipe data and cache and dalvic cache. Then flash either superclean or Rubik's. Then just install the app you are having trouble with.

Soo.... When I reset the phone back to factory (that's what you're saying to do right?) doesn't that wipe everything clean? But you're saying to go clean the cache after that too? So just to make sure I understand correct...

1. Reset the phone to factory. Although if I'm on DL30, do I have to get back to DL09? What will it factory reset to?)

2. Follow the directions in post #1

3. Then wipe the cache (for the whole phone or something more specific?)

4. Figure out how to wipe the dalvic cache (gonna have to google that one)

5. Flash a ROM (going to have to figure that one out too)

5. Install PEPID and hope it works. But then I have install all of the rest of my apps. Will that get the phone screwed up again or do you think it will work ok after doing all of that?

Sorry for all the questions, but I already bricked my phone once using Tasker and had to get a new one and would like to avoid doing it again. I truly appreciate all of the help!

Factory reset will flash you back to stock DL30

Wipe cache is under the main menu of CWM

Wipe dalvik cache is under the advanced menu in CWM

There is a how to flash rom in the original post

There's almost no such thing as a true brick by the way, flash back to stock via odin will make everything work again.

I was using PEPID (Its an emergency medicine reference app) and it was working fine on 2.1. I did the Froyo update yesterday on a factory reset phone. I've been reinstalling all of my apps. They have all been working fine except for PEPID (I'm guessing not many people here use it) and when I try to open it it force closes. Any ideas on possible problems or ways to look at fixing it? Would this have to do with any of that red/green stuff?

I'd like to get it working since its a $250/year app (and a really good one at that)

Can you please contact us(PEPID Support & Customer Service Help for Subscriptions Renewals & Accounts Troubleshooting & Installation iPhone, Blackberry, or 888-321-7828 or support@pepid.com), I think we can resolve the issue you are having with the PEPID application.

Best customer service ever!! :) All I had to do was to delete 2 PEPID files from the SD card that maybe got a little corrupted when I installed the new OS and I'm up and running. So even if I'd wiped the phone, those files would still have been there causing problems. I really appreciate everyone's input, especially PEPID's. :)
