I was the proud owner of an 8330 Curve. Seems like I had it forever and the thing was extremely reliable.....but screw the curve. I've had a Droid since release day and will never look back again.

Believe it was only like $70 a month on VoiceStream (T-mobile) but back then there was no such thing as data as we know it today. It was more texting at its infancy and really more of a palm pilot type interface. Very basic stuff by todays standards but VERY cool for back then. I paid $599.99 for the unlocked version (it was GSM of course)

Cool topic. I also had the Treo 650 as my first smart phone. I thought that screen was BEAUTIFUL! Amazing how things advance. I sold it to a friend who is still using it!

My list goes....

Treo 600 (Sprint)
Treo 650 (Sprint)
Treo 700 (Sprint)
TMobile Dash
TMobile Wing
TMobile Shadow
Treo 700wx (Verizon)
XV 6900 (Verizon)
HTC Touch Pro (Verizon)
XV 6800 (Verizon)
HTC Touch Pro (Sprint)
Motorola Droid (Verizon)

My first Smart Phone was the Nokia 9300i on O2. I am still running it as a back up phone.

My current one is a T-Mobile Pulse.

Phil.

My first was a Blackberry Curve 8330 (Verizon) and then a Blackberry Tour 9630 (Verizon).

I grew frustrated with the Blackberry OS, web browser and a lack of functional applications. Also, Blackberry App World.

I started with the Pearl. I thought I was a big timer. Then went to Storm at release date. Again thought I was a big timer. Now with the Droid Eris. I understand that its not the top of the line android device, but I like it in my second day of use.
