what was your first smartphone?

What a great lineup! I loved the Storm series!

I had the Storm 2 which was better than the original. The Surepress typing worked really well.
You and i and I are in the minority I think though. Not many liked the Storm.

I do remember that the Storm was rather infamous around BlackBerry enthusiasts...

Palm Treo 700w

Still have it around here somewhere(I tend to hoard my old devices). Was a fun device and I really liked the keyboard.

I miss these BlackBerry devices so much! This is a Curve model, right?

Nope, it's the model before the curve. I had this phone then went with the first edition Motorola Q. When the curve came out I went back to Blackberry.

Blackberry 7130c

The 7100 series was the first to use the SureType keyboard, which I never could get with. My model was probably the worst BB ever made.

My first introduction to smartphones was a pocket PC Cingular 8125 MDA/PDA

It was a pretty cool device! View attachment 287198
Nice! I also had the 8125. I thought those WM devices were awesome and ahead of their time. I had a SlingBox at home and would watch TV on my 8125 w/the Sling WM app, a novelty in 2007 that others would always find intriguing.

Samsung Wave. It ran something called Bada but was rendered redundant when the Galaxy S came out.

Still have it but can't get past the pin code.

BlackBerry Bold 9000 in 2009. Finally signed up on a contract. I was buying Sony Ericsson.

9 years later and I've upgraded about 92 times owned every flagship. Right now I have OnePlus 6 and SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 9.
