Oneplus Nord 10 5g 128 mg. Android 11 System is 103 GB all other apps are using 17 GB.
What the would cause this? I've cleaned the cache. Is there anything I can do besides a factory reset?

not rooted.Screenshot_20210920-105819.jpg
When I click on system in storage I get this messageScreenshot_2.jpg

I would go through the full list of system apps and look at their sizes. That should narrow it down for you

In Settings>Apps, look at all of your messaging or social media apps and see if any have built up an enormous amount of cache or data.

Is the phone rooted?

Ugh, that definitely looks very weird. In settings - apps see how much storage is included in Media Storage and the Gallery app.

Also, open the Gallery, select the second tab 'Collections', scroll all the way down and select 'Recently deleted'. Do you have many pics in there?

54 photos and 3 videos. So not much. I deleted them not much change. Is it possible all the updates are not getting rid of the ones that they replace? I will probably back up and restore as it's not as bad as it used to be.

Yup, it's very weird. No, the updates don't accumulate that way. I guess backup and factory reset could be the best option.
