Whats the best rom to run on evo 2.2?

im currently running cyanogen stable mod 6 and i was happy with it but there is alot of things im not so happy about .. like 4g and voice mail.. and sometimes mail.. and my picture text messages .. and when sending LONG TEXT MESSAGES.. it doesnt send or takes forever.. i mean i can go on lol.. but yeah i just wanted to hear if there is anything better.. thanks !!!

I think a lot of people use Handcent on CM6, I use Google Voice so I can't comment too much.

I would suggest grabbing Rom Manager, it's helpful when you really want to try out new roms and test them out, it's also good for creating and restoring nandroid backups so you can always get back to a good configuration.

Ive been happy with Damage Control 3.5 with Netarchys 4.18 CFS kernal. It is getting somewhat stale, but has been extremely stable with 0 problems

Baked snack is pretty good as it has working 4g + htc sense which i like. I use youmail for voicemail. and i use setcpu for OC & UC

Currently Im running Myn Warm 2.2 Sense... by far the BEST Sense rom I've used to date...

I really like Vaelpak but I lost interest after a few days...

CM6 is my Go to Rom... I Cook and flash that thing almost daily

If you want a decent Rom though... JerseyIRoc got it right... Myn is that sh!t

HA! I just replied too. Ya you are the one that put me on VaelPak. I love that rom. It's definitely the most stable rom I've tried. Could use a little more flare, but the next few updates are supposed to do just that. Can't wait. I've tried CM a few times. The first time it was a mess. Unstable as hell. I've tried it a few more times but I just can't like it. I dont know what it is but I just can get myself to like it. There's also no 4g which that in itself just kills it for me... Myn is ****ING AWESOME tho. HANDS down the best looking and cleanest rom I've seen to date. It's not one of those cheesy themed roms either. You guys have to try it. Too bad its a Sense rom tho. No no for me. Hopefully Vaelek can add some of the flare from that rom in his. It'll own so much.

LOL I ya I do flash a lot of roms. It's pretty ridiculous actually lol. We're both addicts. haha. Have you upgraded to 2.2 yet?

Yes I just upgraded about an hour ago. Doesnt seem like much changed. Closely watching battery life.

Not sure the HTC kernel is going to give great battery life. Might flash King's BSF #9.

I don't see why not. I'm gonna throw in Baked kernel # 6 on it after its done flashing.

Ya it wasn't as big of an update as it was supposed to be. There were a lot of changes. Check the changelog. There were some visual changes too with the notification icons, pop up windows and stuff. Hopefully the big changes come with the next one.
