I totally knew what you meant. Wish people that hate the pentile screen so much would stop complaining and get another phone if it bothers them that much. I've seen a DX2 and Atrix and saw nothing wrong with the screens.

I agree.. We do not know if Pentile is on the Bionic or not. But if it is Then I am okay with it. But one thing I am tired of is of the constant complaining about it. Wait until the phone is released before you complain about it. If you do not want a Pentile screen it is your prerogative!!! Choose another phone that does not have it. Almost every other reply from certain people is Pentile this and Pentile that. It sounds like you are trying to talk yourself and others out of buying the Bionic. Yes we get it you do not like Pentile now lets move on and talk about what we know about the Bionic...

Why don't we just go ahead and add "locked Bootloader" to that catagory while we're at it. Just so we're all clear - Nobody is adding anything new to the conversation when they complain about a locked bootloader -

The thing is that I think it will be rooted and unlocked after it is released. I am not a person that root my phone so that does not bother me.

I don't know about the bootloader thing, Suntan. Unlike the pentile display non-sense, a locked bootloader is actually a deal breaker for me. Motorola's hardware is great but their software sucks.

Good news about Droid 3 is people are reporting the phone is blazing fast, smooth and I read a comment on Droid Life that a user compared quadrant score right with the GSII: DROID3 Unboxing Gallery by DL Reader - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

The Droid 3 Quadrant benchmark came in about 2350, 58.3 FPS on Neocore, and is right with the Galaxy S2 on Smartbench 2011.
