What's Your Screen Resolution Setting? Why?

I am absolutely loving my N8, because I can use almost all of its features and still get great battery life. In particular, I love that I can keep my screen set at its highest resolution and still get about 5 hours of screen time with 20 percent left in the tank. Furthermore, I also have my location turned on its most accurate mode. (I found that keeping Bluetooth turned on, however, adversely affects battery life more than anything.) The only time I ever turn my screen resolution or location accuracy lower is when I know there is no chance to charge my phone on a day's outing where I have no access to external power)

How do you set your N8's screen resolution and why?

I set my screen to adaptive display, and keep the blue light filter on all the time. Also, I keep my phone on Entertainment mode all the time, so screen resolution is WQHD.

I don't have any probs with battery life, and literally don't worry about it, which is fantastic since I spend a lot of the day on my telegram messenger groups, lol.

SwiftKey works just fine with my N8 in WQHD. What problem are you having?

Exactly. He probably just needs to increase the size of the keyboard in SwiftKey settings

The pic shows SwiftKey on the small keyboard size. There's one smaller than this.

I just leave mine set to WQHD.

That's fine if you like that size. If you want it smaller you're screwed. It's a bug. SwiftKey is working on it

Verizon. I have my screen brightness set on automatic, but I am generally using my phone in a more dimly lit room, even during daylight hours ; so the brightness is usually ends up being less than 50 percent. (Right now it is actually 25 percent and seems plenty bright for the ambient light level in my room)

No doubt, screen brightness will have more of an effect on battery consumption than screen resolution. Perhaps, your screen brightness averages much than mine.

Pretty good. I still get a full day with around 5-6hours SOT.

Kirk have you tried other SK themes? I get a definite change in size
