What's Your Screen Resolution Setting? Why?

I set my screen to adaptive display, and keep the blue light filter on all the time. Also, I keep my phone on Entertainment mode all the time, so screen resolution is WQHD.

I don't have any probs with battery life, and literally don't worry about it, which is fantastic since I spend a lot of the day on my telegram messenger groups, lol.

What theme are you using? I love the gold accents.

That theme really enhances an already gorgeous phone 😎😁

It's a Samsung theme: settings, Wallpapers and Themes, and then themes.

It cost a couple of dollars or under.

Has anyone actually done some battery life testing between WQHD+ and FHD+? I'm currently using FHD+, and I'm afraid to switch to WQHD+. I might like it too much, and if the battery takes too much of a hit, it would be hard to switch back!

Trust me. You won't need to switch back to FHD+. I had the same fears about a battery hit and never considered using WQHD+ for my first 6 weeks of ownership. I was recently visiting a Best Buy and talking to a salesman about the N8, which he also owned. I bragged about how great my battery life was even with the the GPS always on, although I had the phone set for FHD. He said that he had his on the highest resolution and was still having great battery life. So I figured, why not try it. I did and he was right.

I really love the N8. It is the first phone I have owned that allows me to really enjoy all of its features without having to worry about the battery. My previous phone was a N3, in which I had a 6400 mah extended battery. I still find it hard to believe that the N8, with all its features on and with a battery half as big, could give longer battery life than with my N3.

Bottom line. We paid a high price for this great phone. Not to use its full capabilities, IMO, would be a waste of money.

Just a pointer for finding things ask Bixby. I always ask her/him things like "show me my screen resolution". I never know where things are on the Samsung and Bixby is a great help for this. I just did this and saw mine is on FDH.
