Whatsapp flickering white light on keypad

I have recently got the HTC over S4 and already regretting it.

My problem is when Im using whatsapp for texting, while the keypad/keyboard is visible, for about 1 or 2 seconds 2/3 white lines flicker where the keyboard is visible and this happens randomly. Is anyone facing the same problem? or is my phone faulty?

Something must be wrong with your software because mine never did that before.

yeah its not whatsapp just now I was using the default mail app and keyboard was visible and again white light was flickering for less then a second

Have you tried doing a factory reset?

Then there are two options I can think of:

1) Download the proper RUU for your device and flash it, which may resolve that issue.

2) Go back to where you purchased it and have them take a look at it and possibly replace it if it doesn't work since you're under warranty.

I'd try number one and then if it doesn't work, go for number two.
