Whatsapp lag when switching to and and from home screen?

I've noticed something minor. Sometimes when I've got a chat window open in what's app, if I'm on my home screen and switch to the chat, I sometimes noticed a stutter where you'll see half the home screen and chat together for a second. This is intermittent. Just wondered has anyone else seen this?
