Whatsapp media visibility

How can i downlaod specific images to be saved in my phone's gallery while my whatsapp's media visibility is switched off?
Im using a Samsung galaxy A50
I've tried searching for an option like the one in iphone. But i cant find any. Please help

Not sure if there is a specific option for this, but you can try these three methods.

Method 1: In a WhatsApp chat, open the picture you want to save, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, tap Share, choose Drive, and save it somewhere in your Google Drive. Then open Google Drive and download the picture to the desired location on your phone.

Method 2: Open the Files app (or any other file manager on your phone), go to Internal storage > WhatsApp > Media > WhatsApp Images > find the picture you want, and move it to Internal storage > Pictures, or any other location you want.

Method 3: In a WhatsApp chat, open the picture you want to save and take a screenshot of it. Note that the quality of the picture may be lower if you use this method compared to the previous two.
