Whatsapp Notification Issue

I've a brand new S7 and after setting up, I keep getting the same notification for group messages on whatsapp (a really long tune, so it's really annoying). If you change it in the app settings it doesn't change and I've tried clearing the app cache before changing and even deleting data and reinstalling the app but it never changes. Any ideas? Thanks.

You might try force-quitting the app in the Samsung Settings, then uninstall it. Then re-install it.

I've checked my WhatsApp settings and can't find any options there except the one choice for notification sound and the one I select works as expected.
