I recall that if we input the order number into either ups or FedEx (forgot which), you could then get the tracking number and label info BEFORE they notify us!
My credit card charge got posted immediately for my Fold 5 and S23 ultra orders also. Earlier it used to not until if ships, but from last couple of releases they no longer put a hold and instead directly post the charge first time itself. At least for me it's been like that.
They will state generating shipping label soon with a future delivery date.
You can do that with either, FedEx track via reference or UPS track via reference. Reference number is the order number. We have Fed-Ex delivery manager and it won't let us set up garage. It sends us a 6 digit code and everytime we try to punch it in we get an error message. Me and my husband haven't been able to set it up since we got the app. UPS puts our stuff in the garage but our phones always come Fed-Ex. But everytime it's been during us still being home since we work 2nd shift. You can also sign up for FedEx delivery manager or UPS my choice to automatically notify you for all packages addressed to your address. Very useful and it's free to sign up anyway.
Yeah others are seeing that also I saw it last night it's not right I think it's basing it on when you ordered maybe it'll change I'm sure once you get the phone.for both FedEx and UPS, i am unable to use my order number to track even just to see if a label has been created yet or not.
maybe we have to swallow hard and accept that fact that maybe this year, we really won't get ours before Jan 30th/31st.
also, OUCH! samsung.com's order history area shows that a label for the trade in (return of my S23 Ultra) has already been created and it is ready to be printed out! well...er...great. however, look at the date it MUST BE shipped by? Feb 2nd! what? how can that be? that's not enough time!!!!!!! please see my screenshot below.

I'll gladly pay $5-$10 to have the peace of mind and not praying to the Gods of Parcels that they don't attempt to deliver before I get home. Looks like I'll have to wait till after I have the official shipping notification.

Yeah their website is buggy. I set up a payment source and after entering the credit card info it glitched and said there was a technical issue and to try again. Yes actual charge posted on my AMEX. It's been like that for the past couple of Samsung releases for me. I'm not financing and paying the full balance after trade-in at checkout.An actual charge? Earlier it used to be multiple temporary holds until it ships. But if I recall from S23 release, I saw my card charged within a day after pre-order. I think the reason is because from Samsung system they'll start generating shipping labels with a future delivery date and may be that's what they consider shipped or shipping soon.![]()
Yes ours has never worked we get an error message every time. We're set up with UPS they have our garage code.
