I've been waiting forever it seems like.
Well, the phone's only been out for what, 4 months now? Surly forever is a wee bit longer than 4 months!
There's early alpha builds of 2.2 that you can flash today, I've tried them and to be honest, 2.2 doesn't offer much over 2.1. I'd say the .1 upgrade designation is appropriate.

does the audio port work on the dock then... thats all i really want...well the speed to but its plenty fast for me
Couldn't say, as I don't have the dock. But like I said, the 2.2 builds are early alpha and there's a lot that's not yet working. But they're both only a few weeks old, and a lot of progress is being made, so if it's not working now, I'm sure it will be soon.
this will be the best update yet...now we dont even have to touch it any more we just think what we want it to do and it will happen!!
