When does your Verizon Store open?

Providence, RI store opening at 9 am (regular time). Dude warned me that UPS might not get the phones until Friday, but then he called UPS and they are going to be in-store on Thursday morning. I am AMPED to say the least.

LMFAO! I hear ya. One poster on here says their store is opening at 11 pm on the 14th to hand out pre-ordered phones! I WOULD LOVE A MIDNIGHT RELEASE!!!

Mine opens at 8. I think they usually open at 9. I'm just gonna order off line and get it friday as I would rather not deal with the mail in rebate because I never send the thing in

i went in this morning and she told me they expect a line. they open at 9am but i got an appointment for first thing 9 am. im in lakeland, florida btw.

and mine is opening at 8 as well, an hour early, the manager has also said she will be arriving earlier than 8 so she can let people in if there is a line.

vzw website dont have any special hrs listed for anything around me they all say "Holiday hours, technical services, and bilingual assistance vary by location. Please call to verify."

Are any of the auth retailers going to have any x's on release day.

I decided that I'm going to forget the store. I'm calling 611 at midnight on the 15th and I'll just wait til Friday to get the phone. If that fails I'll try online. This way if I don't get through either way I know I have to run to the local store first thing on Thursday.

The rep there told me it opened at 7 that day, 2 hours early. And he said if I got there by then, I'd have a better chance at getting one. I had a friend coming from AT&T who SAW his X yesterday! They put his name on it and put it in the office until the 15th. They said they were holding 20 for the AT&T customers. grrrrrr.
I'll be there at 7 and if I loose out to the AT&T turncoats, I guess I'll try to order it online.

I called at least 4 Verizon stores today to see if any of them were opening up early. No such luck! All opening at the normal time. Really, why?

One store took my name and number and is suppose to call me tomorrow; a BJ's Verizon kiosk offered to call me early Thursday and said they would be getting in 10-15 units (that does not sound like a lot). That same male kiosk clerk told me they had a demo of the X on site. Well, I was over there in a flash, so I'm really excited, but when I get to the store a female clerk looked me dead in my face and said "we don't have the X and we won't have one until the 15th on launch day". I said really (very nice and calm) because I talked to someone 10 minutes ago who said you did. Meanwhile the male clerk is whistling dixie and not making eye contact with me. The kiosk is only yeh big. The lady then fesses up and says since someone told me there was one there she'll show it to me. She reaches under the desk for it and hands it to me.

No hard feelings, I know she was just doing her job and she did say get here early rather than later, she said a lot of people have been calling and asking about the X.

It is so nice; very sturdy; big but not too big; and lightning fast. I think I made the hunger pains worse. Why is it not Thursday yet? Oooh, heavens to murgatroid!
