When is 8.0 coming to s7edge?

It depends on both your region and if your specific model is carrier-branded. More info on those that have already received it (but bear in mind that even if your model has an update available, it might still be a staged roll-out per region, so it might take a few days or weeks depending on how the update is released).

My Verizon S7 Edge upgraded a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was just another security upgrade, but lo and behold it was (and is) 8.0. FWIW, I am in Cent. Calif.; also, can't say I'm all that impressed with the upgrade. Battery life is about the same, and performance is as well. Still, good to see that a phone that is two generations old gets the latest OS.

AS for T-Mobile, it appears it was released today as I am downloading it now. I'll use the phone today and see how things go.

I was reminded today of the massive lag that this phone has , especially if it hasn't been used in a few days as it catches up with notifications and such. It's almost unusable. Hopefully 8.0 addresses some of that.

Received it yesterday. So far I like it. It feels snappier and I also noticed a small battery improvement.

I'm with Big Magenta, and i got the 8.0 update today. Big improvement, but i'm waiting to check out the Note 9. I want that band 71.

I also noticed Google calendar not lagging for 5 to 10 seconds once you open it before you can do anything. It bugged me for awhile now. Looks like it's fixed.

My Edge thru at&t got Oreo about 2-3 weeks ago.

I have the unlocked version (G935U) - waited forever last year also. Anyone know when 8.0 is coming for us and why Samsung sends it out to unlocked versions last (after the carriers)?

Contact AT&T. They are supposed to supply the update.

i installed 8.0 1 month ago, i think you shoud install a new 7.0 room and update to 8.0

I received the notification on my TMO S7edge yesterday. I am holding off updating until i see a few others perform the update and it works. Reading some of the other carrier reports some users were having issues.

Three weeks ago I update the oreo on g935f till now working like a charm. No issues.
