When will we see Bionic reviews?

Does anyone know when the "professional" web sites will be allowed to post their reviews on the Bionic? I'm sure the phone is already in the hands of reviewers or will be shortly. It's important to me to have some questions answered before I head out for Verizon on Sept 8:

1. How good is the screen, especially in bright sunlight? A year ago I had an emergency along a roadside on a bright July day and I could not see to dial 911 on my original Droid. I understand super amoled screens are better, but this isn't a Samsung phone. (My car burned up before the fire trucks could get there!)

2. How is the camera? Just because it's 8MP doesn't mean much. Only a review can tell us how well it's implemented. (Many of you remember the first Droid had a software problem which made the camera unusable at first.) I know a lot of you say you don't buy a phone for the camera, but increasingly that's not the case. The front-facing camera is not important to me, but I would like a good quality back camera.

3. What is battery life like? I don't have great expectations, but the Thunderbolt battery problems were a bit of a shock. Does Moto/Verizon do any better at power management?

4. Does Verizon load up the Bionic with unremovable crapware like it does on the Charge? They're certainly not going to tell us in advance and if they do, they're likely to call these things "enhancements."

You may have similar questions that only reviews can answer. Anyone else wonder if we'll see reviews in advance of 9/8?

Either the day of release or a few days to a week after. Some blogs may have it, but are under NDA until release. The D3 wasn't sent to bloggers, however.

To add a little more:

3) We've seen some pics of battery life, though nothing super detailed. I believe under light to (kind of) medium usage you can go 24 hours while toggling 4G off when you don't use it. With 4G on, you will be able to last through a day just fine.

4) In some of the spec sheets, especially the one provided to us by Trail, it lists some of the bloatware VZW will be loading onto the Bionic. We can see more of it in the video we have and the pictures we've seen of the device.

You couldn't shade the screen with your hand/head/shirt/shoe/underwear/anything to see the screen?

Yes the bionic is loaded with vzw bloat that needs root to remove. Per P3

I actually didn't see this one. Pentile screens are way better in direct sunlight. The opposite is true for samoled, they are quite terrible in this aspect. Just make sure your brightness is up.

Here is another battery life tweet about the Bionic from P3: "Usage stat from my friend: lte on and heavy usage 8 Hrs to 10%....that is amazing battle life."

There is a new post and the OP has a Bionic and posted 3 pictures and answering questions...

Heh.. i was thinking the same thing but didn't want to start an argument :)

Well I sure tried. If anything focuses your attention, it's your car burning up. In bright sunlight one's pupils are apt to be stopped down to the max. Shading it didn't help a bit. My eyes are a bit older and that may have contributed, but I'm 20/15 with glasses. If anyone cares about the bizarre story you can read about it here:

yeah that is actually one of the selling points to Pentile is that they are one of the few screens you can actually view in direct sunlight. With polarized sunglasses its a bit tough but you can actually still see it (using my wifes D3 for example)

**Edit- Post 500 for me right here LOL**

This is supposed to be the best screen in bright areas to date (aside from electronic ink(nook/kindle)). The SAMOLED+ is not even as good as TFT LCD (Droid1) in the sun, it is just a lot better than the SAMOLED/ other amoled products. The other ones literally show black in enough light.
