Where are the Widgets?

This is probably going to sound like a very stupid question, but can anyone tell me where to find widgets on my shiny new 6P?

I have downloaded a number of apps that had associated widgets on my G2, but when I open the App drawer there is no section for widgets, as I've been used to, and I can't find any functionality in the apps themselves to activate a widget.

I've Googled the issue and searched this forum, but I don't see anything on this yet.

Am I missing something incredibly obvious?

Sorry for the incredibly basic question, and thanks in advance for any help.

Try a long press on a blank spot of your home screen. There should be an option for the widgets.

THANK YOU! I tried everything I could think of ... except that. Worked like a charm. Sorry for such a noob question. Embarrassed that I was able to figure out everything but that.

:) No worries mate, glad it helped! Sometimes we get stuck with the most simple things, been there more than once :)

Don't feel bad -- I just spent a long time on the Project Fi help line -- great guy, Josh figured out some stuff but not the widget thing -- he even used two 6Ps they had there (one tech's and their own "demo" 6P)-- and couldn't find the battery app I (had downloaded and) wanted to use (Crystal Battery) that I couldn't get to show up on the 'desktop' of my new Nexus 6P. If the Tech Supp folks can't find it -- you need have no qualms about not finding it!!

Javier P -- you're my hero!
