Where can I find screen mirroring help?

I asked a question a few days ago that didn't get any answers so instead of answering my specific problem can anyone point me to a good resource to find out why my tablet is failing to pair to a wireless display adapter? It's a bit more complicated than just contacting support from a manufacturer since products from three companies - the tablet, the tv, and the adapter - are involved and at least two of those companies would have me pay for support which may just wind up telling me it's not their fault and to contact someone else.

First of all, which brand of tablet are you using?
Is the mirroring function built in or are you using an app.
With limited information, we have very little to go on.

I gave specific information previously but nobody had any answers so this time instead of specifics I was just hoping someone could point me to another resource to try to get this issue fixed. The problem has changed since then. Samsung has updated the tablet to Android 5.1.1 and instead of being able to hear audio from my TV it won't connect at all. When using the tablet's native screen mirroring functionality the TV will briefly say it's connecting to my tablet and then say connecting failed.
