Where did my download go?

If I was you I would just get ES File manager. Works great and much better than most of the default file managers out there.

Your welcome. If you wanna see your downloads from the stock app its called "Downloads". You should be able to do a search for it if you can not find it. Sorry I did not make that apart of my first post.

I have the HTC One with att. When you open your apps click on the search button and type in download. Mine finds it. It might be hiding in a folder for some off reason.

Mine does. It is under Tools. A black circle with a big green arrow pointing down.

Astro File manager is also a really good app. It is basically a windows explorer type interface and you can browse every file folder on your phone. I find it very useful to find downloaded pictures, etc. because like you have realized, the phone sometimes randomly chooses where to put things and it could be hard to find sometimes =)

I have the download icon but none of the files I download go in there. How do I make that the default location for downloads?

Downloads will have all files stored that have been downloaded. Sometimes, it will attempt, and then stop. Sometimes, you will download one time views of a files, and not ACTUALLY have downloaded the file. The easiest thing to do, is download Adobe Reader. I mostly use ES File Manager.

If you go to your internet and click the three dots (menu button) "downloads will be in the drop down menu

ES FILE manager was the only thing to uninstall 'auto forward spy' on my phone on HTC m8. Great tool to have and easy instructions when trying to uninstall.
