Where did you order from (Google, VZ, BB)?

remember that most credit cards double the one year manufacturer warranty. Yes, I know this doesn't help for damaged phones but that's why I only got that portion of the warranty when I was with Verizon, not the extended warranty portion

I ordered from Verizon because when I canceled my Not Pink 128GB Pixel 3 XL order for the Clearly White 128GB Pixel 3 XL, they still had delivery dates of 10/18. Same date for the black. Only the Not Pink model was pushed back about a week. Doesn't seem to be much demand for these devices on Verizon. I picked up the Total Mobile Protection from Verizon for the device insurance.

I ordered from Verizon, but noticed today that they charged $30 more than what the Google store was charging. I got the 3XL 64gb Not Pink, Google store says $899, Verizon charged me $929 (plus $30 upgrade fee and $79 in taxes).

Yeah, they talked about that on I believe DroidLife or AndroidPolice just after the announcement. They said Verizon was charging a notch fee since they only raised the price on the XL.

I will pick mine up from Best Buy on Thursday. They have an offer of a $100 Best Buy Gift Card. I also have a 10% off coupon. Hoping that that works. My preference would have been to pick up the unlocked version from the google store, but they dont have any offers, so...

Verizon, because I'm already on their network, there really aren't any downsides to getting the so called "Verizon" version, and their ship date was sooner.

Me too. Verizon was offering delivery by 10/18 and Google was the week after.

I ordered mine from Best Buy. And no warranty here since I'm a repair technician at one of the few repair centers licensed by Google to do repairs on Pixels.

I'll have to ask CS why it's more expensive. It's only $30, but still a bit strange.

Do all VZW services work with the Google unlocked version? Wi-fi calling? Etc. TIA

Yes they do. I he only difference between a Google sold Pixel and a Verizon one is a locked bootloader. No matter which phone you get, if you set it up with a Verizon SIM card, it will auto download a few Verizon apps, MyVerizon for one. But all of them can be deleted if so desired.

Verizon does that a lot. When the tech blogs had the prices at the big four carriers for the LG V40, they were varied with a range of $80 from lowest to highest. Guess which carrier was the most expensive.

I beat that last year by buying the Verizon model through Google. Only reason I bought it last year was because they stopped taking orders last year.

I'm going to probably cancel and repurchase at Best Buy. That $100 gc is a better deal than the free pixel stand.

Ordered from Best Buy got the BOGO deal for 2 Pixel 3XLs as well as the $100 gift card which will go for purchasing 2 Pixel stands as I have another Best Buy gift card to use as well.

We've been on Google Fi for the past year.
Fi had a deal where you order 2 Pixels and get $799 in usage credit.
Kate and I each have a Pixel 3 XL 128 coming on Thursday.
Such Excitement!

I haven’t purchased yet, but noticed that Target is offering a $150 gift card on activation. It’s listed on their website. I think that will start Thursday, 10/18. I was planning to pick up from BB, but now might just go to Target. Red card saves another 5%
