Where do you see the S series going in the future

I would love foldable screens! And if things got smaller, it'd be great. :)
It's funny how things change all the time. We want smaller, oh battery doesn't last long with smaller batteries in smaller phones, we want more battery power, now we want bigger phones for bigger batteries.

I couldn't agree more! We're never satisfied! :P Also, my dad had that first big phone on the left. I personally think that was the coolest and most innovative piece of tech ever, because that was when "wireless" was unheard of, except for car phones.

Dual cameras for sure. I hope Samsung adopts the wide angle lens, but include it with OIS and large pixels.

Some experts say that the smartphone will be replaced soon by the next generation of mobile technology. Sounds far fetched but think back to 10 years b4 the first iPhone. What we have now would have sounded impossible.

Imagine a phone you never have to charge, because they figure out a way to convert radio/wifi signals (for example) to something that can keep your phone charged? That'd be enough for me to upgrade. What about a phone the same size as the S8+ that gets a worldwide signal no matter where you are from satellite or some other technology yet to be invented? What about 6G internet that's faster than you can imagine? All reasons to upgrade.

The second part sounds nice but the carriers have to play catch-up.

Till then I will enjoy my 1 Gbps ISP at home :P.

I know. I thought maybe some people would have ideas, it seems like the phones tech is maxed out

Couldn't disagree more. I see your phone as a fully functional computer where you arrive at your destination and plug in the monitor and mouse.

I realize Microsoft has been experimenting along these lines but, alas, it's only experimenting.
