Where is my download (.pdf) that I downloaded from email

I used outlook via the web to download a .pdf file. It said it worked, in fact it gave me 3 icons saying it downloaded but when I pressed them they just disappeared and din't do anything. I know that pictures I've downloaded go to my gallery and I can get them there but where might this file be?

I just found it, but it says cannot open file. do I need an adobe reader ap or something

A lot of different apps can open PDF files--you don't necessarily need Adobe's. The Amazon Kindle app can actually open PDFs. Just do a search for "PDF" in Google Play.
